For eight Level 1b consolidated products in year 2002, the selection and transfer of the A0 sun mean reference spectrum from the calibration database into Global Annotation Data Sets (GADS) enclosed into the Level 1b products result not optimal. In case more than one database entry exists for one day; the nearest neighbours search results not fully deterministic and the selection of the calibration parameter deviates from expectation. Orbits affected are from 2398 to 2401, and from 3272 to 3275. The impact on data quality is limited as A0 entries from contiguous days exist, and the calibration values derived are similar to the ones expected.
