Anomalous values of NESR

On 19 December 2011 and 17 February 2012, some MIPAS NRT Level 0 products have been processed using a wrong ENVISAT Predicted Orbit file.


The corresponding NRT L1b products showed NESR values anomalously lower than nominal:




The corrective action has been to reprocess the L0 products with the proper AUX_FPO_AX file and then generate new L1b products with IPF MIPAS/5.06.
The NESR values for the new output are shown below:



It has to be noticed that the anomaly only affected the Near-Real Time chain, since during the processing of Consolidated products precise orbit info are used.
